Question about the 2 types of char's new to game - Guild Wars Forums

hey i was wondering when you usally make a PVP char and a role playing char. are they usally the exact same build or do people usally make them different builds whats best effective?

Try the "Campfire" section for PVE/PVP builds. Also, discuss it and use the "Search Button!" Gasp, I said search button =) It helps though, trust me.

The builds for PvP and PvE are different, for example: a 55hp monk/warror for PvE is going to be almost invincible (if you know how to use a 55hp Mo/W build), a 55hp monk/anything is gonna suck in PvP because of the low health.

I seriously hope you're kidding. A 55 hp monk is so easily destroyable in PVE it isn't funny unless you're in a MELEE only area, like Aatxe's in UW, then maybe I'll agree. Anywhere else, NEGATORY. To quote a comic, I'll even post the link: "SHATTER. REND. CHOP."

Take a moment. Laugh. Then seriously think about a different build in non-melee areas. Also, take this chat to a Build section, Like I mentioned. It'll be more helpful.

One cast Vampiric Touch with > 55 health steal = gg

There is probably no other skill which could kill 55 hp monk with single cast.
